The Town of Truckee and Placer County offer resources to help Buyers with gap financing. These are different programs and can not be used in conjunction with one another. Restrictions: One household member must be employed full-time within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School district boundary (30+ hours per week). Buyer must meet 245% AMI requirement ($241,000 for a household of 4). Amount: Contributes up to $150,000 for a maximum purchase price of $937,500 Area: Within town limits of the Town of Truckee Placer County– Click for more informationPlacer County Workforce Housing Preservation Program (WHPP) offers compensation as gap financing for home purchases in Unincorporated East Placer County. Restrictions: One household member must be employed full-time within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District boundary (30+ hours per week). Amount: Contributes 16% of the purchase price up to $150,000 Area: This program is for properties located in eastern Placer County (North Lake). Martis Fund – Click for more information Restrictions: At least 51% of the household income is earned within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District boundary. Buyer must meet 180% AMI requirement ($183,000 for a household of 4) Amount: Contributes a maximum of $75,000.
